Join us for a “Hull of a Party” The Strawberry Festival Organizers Need Your Help! Please help us hull strawberries while enjoying the tunes of DJ Croskey and sipping on some light refreshments. Whether you play tennis or not, everyone is invited to take part in this fun and social activity. It takes approximately 60–90 minutes; depending on the number of volunteers - it’s a great opportunity to visit with your neighbours and make new friends. Tennis players, please sign up on Court Reserve so we can estimate the number of helpers. When: Tuesday, March 17th at 10:30 am Where: CanAm What to Bring: small knife, medium bowl and a Labelled CRISPER from your fridge. (use making tape and write your name, phone number and lot number and place on the bottom of your crisper. Crispers are so important to the success of our Strawberry Festival. What is a Crisper? - holds your fruit/vegetables in the bottom of your fridge.) Crispers hold a lot of berries when full. We cover with plastic film for you to slide back into your fridge overnight. Schedule Wednesday morning - YOU return the filled Crisper to CanAm between 9 am -11 am. Wednesday afternoon - YOU pick up your Crisper between 4 & 5 pm. We will be placing a collection tote for newspapers/newsprint starting March 1st between the two washrooms at the Charlotte Centre.
