Novice Tennis Many members of the Tennis Club arrived at Maple Leaf with little or absolutely no experience with the game. We have several programmes and activities to help novices get started and get playing. Taste of Tennis The Taste of Tennis programme includes both a one-session, hands-on introduction and then a series of weekly lessons. Novice Mixed Open Members' Novice Mixed Open sessions features round-robin play - players rotate onto the court in turn and play four games before rotating out - with recent Taste of Tennis graduates and other novices. The emphasis is on having fun and gaining confidence while building skills. Mentoring Programme The mentoring programme matches new players at Maple Leaf - novice or experienced - with club members who can show them the ropes: play available, how to book courts, how to find partners, etc.

Men's Open Tennis: Doubles tennis play is available to men of any ability 3 days a week. Court time is in the afternoon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Schedule for2024/2025: Monday: 12:30 - 2:00 @ CanAm Wednesday: 1:00 - 3:30 @ Charlotte Friday: 2:00 - 4:00 see CourtReserve for any updates to times Players rotate into games. Just add your racquet to the line. Open to Tennis Club members and guests.

Court Booking & Schedules Main Season We use CourtReserve to manage our court bookings and reservations for most tournaments and social events. Tennis Club members can view and add bookings during the main season (October through April). Anyone - residents, renters, guests and indeed the general public - can view the bookings.
